Terry A Champion of a Man, time passes by but not a day passes that I do not think of a 'Terry" phrase or rely on his words of wisdom. Much missed by us all, Gary

Dear Terry You simply were the best boss that anyone could have asked for! There were so many great times during the 8 years that I worked for you, especially when we were at Victoria. We were like one big happy family and one of the hardest decisions I had to make was when I left London. It was you that convinced me that this was the right thing to do as you knew you would soon be leaving, and as you put it “It’s time you headed nearer home Princess”. This was typical of you, thinking of others. You knew that by being nearer home, I could spend more time with my family, as after all family meant so much to you as you always spoke so fondly of yours. Everywhere you went, the team you managed were the best. You were well liked, well respected and you inspired those around you as your knowledge of the railway was incredible and I owe so much of what I have learnt, to you. I am so glad to have met you and feel extremely privileged to have worked for you. I will treasure all the happy memories and you will always be remembered by me and Colin, by the photos and video of our wedding day, which we were so glad you and Vicki were able to join us at. I know that is sad for Vicki and your family that you are no longer around to enjoy the long and happy life you planned together in Spain, but I know that you are up there, with your good friend Brian, looking down on us all and hopefully we will all meet up again one day. Rest in Peace Terry. Gone, but certainly not forgotten Suzanne xx

Dear Vicki, Chris and family, I would just like to offer my condolences following the sad loss of Terry. When i first joined the railway in the mid 1990's Terry was very good to me - (with a fair bit of mickey taking!) - and i will always be very grateful of the support he offered how he took the time to help me. Best wishes for the future. Brian Husbands, Depot Ops Manager, Brighton Area
